To Shawna's Friends!--I need help!
First, thanks Shawna for posting information about my blog. I figured I'd never have any comments. Although I just started this blog, I've never really spent much time on anyone's blog before, not even my sister-in-laws. Shame on me! So, basically I need help. When I went in on the comments section, I tried to click on everyone's names so I could view your blogs. All I could seem to get to are your profile pages. Am I missing some way to link to your blogs? Also, I tried to post on Shawna's blog, but it wouldn't let me. Any idea what I could be doing wrong??? Anybody know what subscribe to "post atom" means? This baby blogger needs help! I don't want to throw in the towel already. THANKS!

Okay, I'll see if I can answer your questions. :)
If you click on people's names in the comments section, you do get sent to their profile page. Unless their blog is set to private, on the profile page you will see a heading called Blog Name. Click on the link below it (usually the name of their blog), and you're there.
I'm assuming the reason you couldn't post to Shawna's blog is just because she has to approve all the comments before they appear...so she gets them in an email first. This is a setting you can choose when you set up your blog, but not everyone has it turned on.
Subscribe to: Posts (Atom) is just a link that, if visitors to your site click on it, they can add your blog to their google reader or google home page, and be notified every time you update your blog. I use google reader, so that I don't have to check my favorite blogs every day. I can just go to google reader and see which ones have put new stuff on there.

Thanks, Rachel! The only thing I couldn't quite figure out is linking to your pages from mine. The way you described it worked for Reagan and Shawna, although Shawna's went to Rex's blog. When I pulled up your's, Kathy's, and Laurel's there were no links under blog name. Go figure. At least I know I can always access through Shawna's site or just add to my links.

Shawna and Rex use one account, Shawna's blog is private and Rex's is not.

The other thing you can do is get a blog reader. You sign up and cut and paste all of the blog addresses that you read. Then when you want to read blogs, you go to your reader site, and read what people have posted. It is way faster than clicking on all the blogs through others, or typing the address in each time. Just by going to one site, you can check all of your favorite blogs. I use: https://www.google.com/accounts/ServiceLogin?hl=en&nui=1&service=reader&continue=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com%2Freader%2F

Hey - your pictures turned out great! BTW - I still haven't figured out half of what I'm doing on blogging :) Sometimes it takes me FOREVER to post - especially pictures - so I'd say you're off to a great start.
